A4 envelopes - for posting of legal things which you shouldn’t fold
A5 envelopes - for posting everything else
Parcel tape - because nothing does the job of sealing up parcels as well
Sharpie - there is no better marker pen
Expanding wallet file - for keeping the most important documents (passport, birth certificate etc)
Filing cabinet - for keeping the bulk important documents like contracts, insurence stuff, pension details etc
Filing cabinet hangers - for use above
Fire resistant safe - as an alternative for the very important things

Bathroom sealent - at somepoint you’ll need to replace it because it’s gone manky
Paint scraping knife - super helpful for lots of things Today I used mine to fold down the sharp edged ittle tab things on the back of a picture frame
A tape measure
A decent screw driver - Have one quality multitool rather than a collection of crap ones
A set of wide nosed pliers - with a wire stripping edge in them
A set of needle nosed pliers - for grabbing small things
2xAdjustable wrench - for wretching things. You need two so you hold things with one and unscrew them with the other
A saw
Drain unblocker vicious chemicals at their finest
WD40 - for loosening things you need to wretch
Insulation tape - electrical things but generally handy
Extention cable
Autoloader screwdriver - this is aparently the nuts
Stud and wire detector - do not hammer things into wires
Telescopic and foldering ladder
A good hammer
Bucket
Hot air gun - great for stripping paint but also makes amazing toast

Shoe polish - in the colours you have shoes, start with black
Shoe brushes - for polishing
Superglue - the gel stuff is much easier to use
High density AA and AAA batteries and a charger along with 9v batteries for smoke alarms
Smoke Alarms - Buy two, upstairs and downstairs.
Multi-key for radiators, gas cupboards, etc etc - thing
Swiss card - lives in your wallet, contains many useful things
Keychain pillbox - painkillers, antihistamins, important drugs
First aid kit
Tampons and sanitary towels - even if you’re not going to need them visitors might. Consider starting a Tampon Club in your office
A good hoover. There were some arguments for cordless stick hoovers, I’m not yet convinced.
An instant read themometer, either a pokey one for food or a contactless one
Heavy duty fishing line super useful, things like hanging pictures
Ziplock bags Endlessly handy for sorting things. Great when travelling too.
